Green Supply Chain Decisions and Revenue-Sharing Contracts under Manufacturers’ Overconfidence

چکیده
Overconfidence is a prevalent and potentially catastrophic behaviour in judgment decision-making. In this paper, we define manufacturers’ overconfidence as belief bias that they overestimate the impact of product greenness on demand accuracy uncertainty. We build game theory model based overconfident beliefs, address decisions price, discuss supply chain profits. For adverse effects brought by overconfidence, further investigate whether revenue-sharing contracts can coordinate green chains. find three new insights. (1) Manufacturers’ leads to higher greenness, wholesale greater retail but resulting lower (2) Under cooperation contracts, greater, price than case without cooperation. The increases with manufacturer’s counter-intuitively, not affected overconfidence. (3) Both manufacturer retailer have an incentive reach contract. Retailers benefit from collaboration, manufacturers assume retailers make more profit through revenue sharing, does exist.

Supply Chain Coordination with Revenue-Sharing Contracts: Strengths and Limitations
Under a revenue-sharing contract, a retailer pays a supplier a wholesale price for each unit purchased plus a percentage of the revenue the retailer generates. Such contracts have become more prevalent in the video cassette rental industry relative to the more conventional wholesale price contract. This paper studies revenue-sharing contracts in a general supply chain model with revenues determ...
متن کاملOn the role of revenue-sharing contracts in supply chains
The supply chain coordinating role of revenue-sharing has, to date, been examined only in static models. With downstream competition, the central conclusion in these models is negative: revenue-sharing cannot, except in degenerate form, achieve coordination. Incorporating dynamics, by allowing inventory carryover in discrete time, this paper establishes a foundation for revenue-sharing contract...
متن کاملManufacturers’ Closed-Loop Orientation for Green Supply Chain Management
The concept of green supply chain management (GSCM) is still in its infancy and has been implemented only to a limited extent. Strategic orientation is an important factor affecting its implementation. No reliable and valid strategic orientation construct has been developed for greening a supply chain. This study proposes closed-loop orientation (CLO) as the appropriate strategic orientation to...

Three-stage mining metals supply chain coordination and air pollutant emission reduction with revenue sharing contract
One of the main concerns of all industries such as mine industries is to increase their profit and keep their customers through improving quality level of their products; but increasing the quality of products usually releases air pollutants. Nowadays the management of air pollutant emissions with harmful environmental and health effects is one of the most pressing problems. In this paper, auth...
